Betty Ruth Ray, 85, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 4, 2025, in Alabaster, AL.
She was born October 16, 1939, in Autauga Co., Alabama, daughter of the late Clayton Puckett and the late Delene Puckett.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Some of her favorite pastimes were going on road trips and attending yard sales. She found peace and happiness while working in her flower beds. Above all, what she treasured the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her Daughters, Debra (Dave) Hill, Pam (Keith) Burnette, Betty Gail (Russell) Compton; Son, Terry Ray; Brothers, David (Louise) Puckett, William (Linda) Puckett, Wayne (Linda) Puckett, Gene (Charlotte) Puckett; Grandchildren, Montana (David) Lawrence, Jessie (Blake) Boggs, David (Tricia) Hill, Chris (Samantha) Hill, Kipp (Sara) Burnette, Erik (Emily) Burnette, Kalie (Wilbert) Jackson, Becky (Rickey) Evans, Brittany (David) House, Jeremy (Leah) Compton; (21) Great-grandchildren; (5) Great, Great-grandchildren; Special Niece, Lisa Puckett.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Cecil Maurice Ray; Parents, Clayton & Delene Puckett; Sisters, Barbara Ann Esco, Rebecca Puckett.
Friends will be received Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Cane Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 am. at Cane Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Scott and Rev. Ken Chandler officiating.
Interment will follow in Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
