Billie Jean Neeley

Neeley, Mrs. Billie Jean, age 85, a resident of Verbena, AL died on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Neeley was born on April 16, 1930 to the late Edward Franklin Grant and the late Sadie Willis Brown Grant. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Neeley of Verbena, AL; brothers, Frank Grant of Tampa, FL and Claxton Grant of New Castle, DE; sisters, Geanie Jones of Sylacauga, AL and Betty Whitehurst of Montgomery, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Hubbard Neeley and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm from Bethany Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Aubry Wallace officiating. She will lie-in-state from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Gray, James Gray, Wayne Coe, Pat Cantley, Rick Jones, Lee Colvard, and Colin Colvard. Martin Funeral Home of Clanton directing.
