Billy Ray Hudson

**Family delayed obituary due to trying to notify all family members in the states and over seas** Mr. Billy Ray Hudson, born July 5, 1936, passed away on August 9, 2019 at the age of 83 years old, in Baptist Hospital, Montgomery, Alabama. He was laid to rest on August 13, 2019 in a private ceremony at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama. He received full honors. He proudly served his country for 20 years. He volunteered and served two tours of duty in Viet Nam. He served honorably, with courage, and received several accommodations for his service. He is survived by his children, Patti (Gene) Littleton of Jemison, Alabama; Denise (Greg) Scarbrough of Clanton, Alabama; Marina Hudson of Germany;Vince (Lynn) Hudson of Thorsby, Alabama; Grandchildren, Michael (Sheria), Amanda, Zac (Aly), Kyle (Erin), Abbie (Julien), Tanna and Taylor; Great-Grandchildren, Patrick, Cody, Addison, Elijah, and Darcy. He is Also survived by one brother, Gerald (Debra) Hudson and one sister, Wyma Spears. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Green and Minnie Mae Hudson; Three sisters, Linda, Margaret, and Jessie and two brothers, Marvin and Joe Ed. Martin Funeral Home directing.
