Bobby Wayne Gore, 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away October 4, 2024, at his residence in Clanton, AL.


He was born October 9, 1939, in Alabama, son of the late Eligie Gore and the late Ellin Victoria Lawrence Gore.


He was a Maintenance Man for the Chilton County Board of Education for twenty-seven and a half years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for two years, 1963-1965, where most of his time was spent in Germany.


Surviving are his Wife, Nancy McCraw Gore; Sister, Becky Burkett.


He was preceded in death by his Father, Eligie Gore; Mother, Ellin Victoria Lawrence Gore; Son, Robert  Gore; Sisters, Millie Coreen (Charlie) Gentry, Virginia Ruth (Simion) Cleckley; Brothers, Roy Hugh (Ruth) Gore, Curtis Hoover (Josephine) Gore, Thomas Earl (Winnie Mae) Gore, Rondal (Denise) Gore; Grandparents, Albert & Theodosia Cox Gore, Race M. & Camelia McGee Lawrence; Stepmother, Estelle Gore Glenn.


Friends will be received Monday, October 7, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Mulberry Baptist Church in Maplesville, Alabama.


Services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm. at Mulberry Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Keith Mott officiating.
