Bobby Earl "Pop" Headley, 74, of Maplesville died Friday, July 5, 2013 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, September 24, 1938 in Chilton County, Alabama, Son of the late Paul David Headley and the late Verlie Mae Rhodes Headley. He worked in the Construction Dept. for the State of Alabama. Surviving are his Wife, Mary Dukes Headley of Maplesville, AL; 2 Sons, Marvin E. Headley of Maplesville, AL, Keith (Aline) Headley of Jemison, AL; Grandson, Michael Headley of Jemison, AL; Granddaughter, Tessa D. Rothert, Ohio; 4 Brothers, David Headley of Opelika, AL, Norman D. Headley of Clanton, AL, Ray Headley of Clanton, AL, Terry Headley of Columbiana, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Paul David & Verlie Mae Headley. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.. Services will be held Monday, July 8, 2013, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Kenny Cobern officiating.
