Bobby Claude Underwood, 80, of Calera died Monday, February 19, 2018. He was born on Monday, August 30, 1937 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Oscar E. Underwood and the late Lydia McCary Underwood. He was a Attorney in Birmingham, AL. Also, a retired Captain in the USAF. Attended The Ohio State University Class of 1966, George Washington University Class of 1972 MBA and University of Michigan Class of 1980 law school. Surviving are Sister, Judy (Charles) Gray of Calera, AL; Brothers, Billy (Donna) Underwood of Thorsby, AL, Jerry (Letia) Underwood of Thorsby, AL, Larry (Terry) Underwood of Thorsby, AL; Sister-in-Law, Margaret Underwood of Jemison, AL; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & Friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Oscar & Lydia Underwood and Brother, John W. Underwood. Friends will be received from 5-7, Friday, February 23, 2018 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cem., Jemison, AL.
