Brenda Letrell Mims Edwards, 68, of Clanton, Alabama passed away October 6, 2025, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

She was born November 7, 1956, in Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas Mims and the late Betty Jo Mims.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Husband of 36 years, Thomas "Buddy" Edwards; Son, Brian (Cerena) Edwards; Step-Son, Dusty (Suzette) Edwards; Step-Daughter, Alesha (Nelson) Stallings; Grandchildren, Aiden, Colton, Randy, and Maci Edwards; Step-Grandchildren, Chase Merrell, Tyler and Jada Stallings; Nephews, Jason Allen, Jacob Allen, and many more; Sister, Debbie Clackler; Special Friend, Timothy (Conehead) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Thomas Mims; Mother, Betty Jo Mims.

Friends will be received Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
