Rev. Thomas Gary Voyles, 70, of Clanton died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, February 20, 1943 in Georgia, Son of the late Thomas E. Voyles and the late Vera Benson Voyles. Bro. Gary pastored 3 churches in Chilton County for 25 years. He served Collins Chapel Baptist Church for 21 years, New Covenant Baptist Church for 2 years, and New Cedron Baptist Church for 2 years. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Eloise Cox Voyles; Sons, Mr. Keith (Dina) Voyles, Mr. Greg (Sece) Voyles; Grandchildren, Brody & Kylie Voyles; Sister, Mrs. Delores Thornton; Special Caregiver, Mrs. Bridgett Cox. He was preceded in death by his Parents, T.E. & Vera Benson Voyles. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at New Cedron with Rev. Lynn Roe, Rev. Wayne Cleckler, & Rev. William Kee officiating.
