Bruce Joe LEDBETTER, 89, of Billingsley died Monday, August 31, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, May 27, 1920 in Tallapoosa Co., AL, Son of the late Raybon Holmes Ledbetter and the late Lila Stewart Ledbetter. He was a Machine Operator. Surviving are his Son, Joel B. (Sandra) Ledbetter of Billingsley, AL; Daughter, Janis (Dennis) Reeves of Youngstown, FL; 3 Sisters, Annie Laura Glass of Millbrook, AL, Montez Coley of Montgomery, AL, Pauline Daughtry of Millstead, AL; Sister-in-Law, Sultana Ledbetter of Birmingham, AL; Special Nephew, William Wisner of Birmingham, AL; Cousin, Howard Ledbetter of Prattville, AL; Grandson, Franklin Ross (Ashley White) Ledbetter of Verbena, AL; 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Grandson, Bruce Jason Ledbetter, Wife, Mildred Ledbetter and 10 Brothers & Sisters. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 @ Billingsley Church of God. Services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2009, at 2:00 PM. at Billingsley Church of God with Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, AL. No Flowers, please donate to the funeral. Martin Funeral Home directing.
