Calvin Eugene "Gene" Dutton, 74, of Randolph, Alabama passed away July 30, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama. He was born November 21, 1946 in Dallas County, Alabama , son of the late Calvin Dutton and the late Nola Dutton. He was a cable repair technician for BellSouth Telephone Company until he retired with 34 years of service. He loved woodworking, farming and hunting turkeys known as the "Turkey Man". Surviving are his of 54 years, Wife, Elaine Dutton, Son, Brian (Glenda) Dutton, Daughter, Dana (Dane) Brantley, Son, Kevin Dutton, Grandson, Phillip (Madelyn) Brantley, Grandson, Taylor Dutton, Granddaughter, Sarah Brantley, Granddaughter, Hannah Dutton, Granddaughter, Deanna Dutton, Great-Granddaughter, Karlee Dutton, Sister, Ann (Cecil) Hubbard, Sister, Debbie Chandler. He was preceded in death by his Father, Calvin Norman Dutton and Mother, Nola Dutton. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Evie Megginson and Rev. Shawn Lowery officiating.
