Carl Lynn Benson, 68, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away July 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1951 the son of James Benson and Alma Benson. He was a Carpenter and a jack of all trades. Surviving are his Wife, Judy Benson, Daughter, Sonya Benson, Daughter, Stephenie (Mike) Carroll, Daughter, Melissa (Philip) Marquez, many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Sister, Shiela (Jim, his best friend and brother-in-law) Yaw, Cousin, Donna Farris, his 2 Best Friends, Sassy & TacoBell, loving Church family and many friends. He was preceded in death by him Father, James Leary Benson, Mother, Alma Jean Benson and a Brother, Jimmy Bernard Benson who was 2 years older than Carl and died when he was a baby. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, Maplesville, AL. Services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at 11:00 am. at Faith Baptist Church, Maplesville, AL with Rev. Johnnie Dutton officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be the Deacons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Grandson, Trey Benson, Grandson, Tyler Spigner, and Brother-in-law, Jim Yaw.
