He was born on Tuesday, May 26, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Oscar Smith and the late Lillian Lovett Peters. He was a Logger. Surviving are Wife, Betty Smith; Sons, Chris Smith, Jimmy Smith, David White, Joe White; Daughters, Joanna Morrison, Teresa Smith, Melisa Smith; 9 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, 4 Brothers, 2 Sisters. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Oscar Smith & Lillian Peters and 3 Sisters. Friends will be received from 10-11, Thursday, September 14, 2017 @ Mars Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.
