She was born on Thursday, April 19, 1956 in Montgomery, AL, Daughter of the late David Carl Nelson and Geraldine Johnson Nelson. She was a Bank Clerk. Surviving are Husband, Rev. Robert Griffin of Clanton, AL; Son, Matt (Shona) Griffin of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Shelley (Ben) Hill of Ithaca, MI, Dena (Bradley) Griffin of Calera, AL; 12 Grandchildren, A Host of Nieces & Nephews; Mother, Geraldine Nelson of Clanton, AL; Brothers, David Nelson of Clanton, AL, Greg (Tina) Nelson of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Father, David Carl Nelson. Friends will be received from 5-7, Monday, July 9, 2018 @ Highland Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Griffin and Dr. Larry Felkins officiating.
