Carlye Carlovitz Best, 84, of Montevallo died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, November 11, 1931 in Mobile, AL , Daughter of the late Carl O. Carlovitz and the late Merle McCaskill Carlovitz. She was an Administrative Assistant at The University of Montevallo. Services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at a later date in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
