Carol Dean Nelson

Carol Dean Pounds Nelson, 92, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 22, 2022 at her Residence in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born September 5, 1929 in Alabama, daughter of the late Albert Aaron Pounds and the late Laura Velma McGee Pounds.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Sons, Rodney (Annette) Nelson and Dale Nelson; Daughter, Frieda  (Wendell) Parrish; Grandchildren, Greg (Misty) Nelson, Kenton (Melissa) Nelson, Keelan Parrish, Kyle Parrish, Amanda Nelson Fuentes and Kaleena Parrish Johnson; Nine Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Albert Aaron Pounds; Mother, Laura Velma McGee Pounds; Husband, William "Bill" Oswald Nelson; Half Sister, Oma Lee Pounds Price; Three Nieces.

Friends will be received Friday, March 25, 2022 for a Celebration of Life with Family at 6:00 p.m. at the Clanton Church of Christ.

There will be a viewing Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Clanton Church of Christ.

Services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Clanton Church of Christ with Gary Bradley, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
