Carolton Price Castleberry

Carolton Price Castleberry, 93, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away September 28, 2022, in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born October 19, 1928, in Alabama, daughter of the late James Smith and the late Litha Porter Smith.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Sons, David Wayne (Gwen) Price, Gary Allen (Brenda) Price, Michael Don (Judy) Price and Tony Lane (Joyce) Price; Daughter, Ramona Price (Jack) Popwell, 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Thomas Smith; Mother, Litha Jane Smith; First Husband, Dave Price; Second Husband, James Earl Castleberry; Siblings, Clara (Fred) Robinson, Richard Henry (Hazel) Smith, Chlora (S.E.) Maddox, Nell (Dalton) Hamilton and Orville (Kate) Smith.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 3:00 pm. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Brandon Price and David Hand officiating.  Pallbearers:  Jacob Hand, Nathan Hand, Matthew Price, Will Price, Chad Robinson and Sawyer Waddell.

Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.

The family would like to thank Hatley Health Care and The Gardens of Clanton for the love shown and the care given to our mother during this transitional time of her life.  Our mother exemplified the Biblical description of a Godly woman.  She has always been our most faithful prayer warrior with a servant's heart and unconditional love for all.  While we are rejoicing her homegoing, she will be missed.  Mom, we love you more more.
