Carolyn Joy Copeland, 69, of Clanton, Alabama passed away October 28, 2026, at UAB in Birmingham, AL.

She was born October 16, 1957, in Georgia, daughter of the late Charles Gilliland and Clara Gilliland.

She was a Guidance Councelor/Administrator at a mental health facility.

Surviving are her Mother, Clara Gilliland; Brother, Charles Gilliland.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles F. Gilliland.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Clanton First Baptist.

Services will be held , November 7, 2026, at 1:30 pm. at Clanton First Baptist with Rev. Justin Nelson and Rev. Gary Miller officiating.
