Carrie B. Hayes, 96, of Thorsby died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Sunday, August 8, 1915 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Alf Bolton and the late Lizzie Porter Bolton. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Daughter, Mrs. Faye H. (Johnny) Burnette of Thorsby, AL; 2 Sons, Rev. Buddy (Frances) Hayes of Thorsby, AL, Mr. Danny (Lisa) Hayes of Thorsby, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Pink Hayes. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012, at 2:00 pm. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randal Mims and Rev. Clint Harris officiating.
