Cathy Rena Edwards, 64, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 4, 2026, at her residence in Clanton, AL.

She was born August 24, 1961, in Alabama, daughter of the late Doyle Thomas and the late Bobbie Church.

She was a Security Guard.

Surviving are her Husband, Pete Staggs; Sons, Jonathon Edwards, David (Heather) Staggs; Daughter, Anita (Michael) Lovett; Grandsons, Blake Staggs, Dalton Edwards, Tyler Staggs, Levi Lovett; Granddaughters, Alexis Edwards, Bailee Staggs; Sisters-in-Law, Sue Johnson, Carolyn Thomas; Brother-in-Law, Buddy Staggs; Special Friend, Wiley Jones; A host of other Family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Doyle Thomas; Mother, Bobbie Church; Brothers, Kenneth Green, Terry Garrick, Ricky Thomas, Pete Thomas; Sister, Linda Thomas.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Teddy Chadwick and  Bro. Buddy Staggs officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
