Cecil Lee Evans, 81, of Thorsby died Sunday, May 13, 2012. He was born on Monday, October 13, 1930 in Ware MS, Son of the late Joe Dowle Evans and the late Ruby Estell Weeks Evans. Surviving are his 3 Daughters, Dianne Pickett of Thorsby, AL, Carol Clark of Thorsby, AL, Tina Adkinson of Thorsby, AL; 5 Grandchildren, Alan (Shannon) Pickett, Brandi (Chris) Burch, Eric (Tiffany) Pickett, Ashley Atkinson, Evan Atkinson; 7 Great Grandsons; Sister, Joyce Ann Sumrall of Pascagoula, MS. Friends will be received from 6-8, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
