Cecil Otis SMITHERMAN, 88, of Clanton died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at his residence. He was born on Monday, December 1, 1919 in Bibb Co., Alabama, Son of the late Abner Smitherman and the late Bertha Chism Smitherman. He was retired from Montgomery and Prattville Housing Authority. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Edna E. Smitherman of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Larry Smitherman of Orlando, FL, Mr. Gary Smitherman of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Linda Jackson of Polk City, FL, Mrs. Wanda Huntsberger of Clanton, AL; 2 Brothers, Mr. Elvin Smitherman and Mr. Doyle Smitherman.; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8, Monday, August 25, 2008 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at 10:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
