Charles Lee Patterson, Jr. Born - August 5, 1945 Died - May 22, 2015 Charles Lee Patterson, Jr. (Charlie) attended The University of Alabama receiving an undergraduate degree and a Ph.D in biology. He was a Captain in the United States Army, serving in Korea. He worked at the National Institute of Health and for 30 years at the United States Patent Office in the science division, in biological medicine. He is survived by his wife Ellen Wright Patterson. Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Clanton City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
