Charles "Billy" W. Walden, 90, of Thorsby died Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born on Wednesday, May 12, 1926 in Georgia, Son of the late Morris D. Walden and the late Flossie Harrison Walden. He was a Superintendent. Surviving are Daughter, Janet (Johnny) Newell of Brandon, MS; Grandchildren, Ryan (Jennie) Walden , Ragan (Blake) Swearengine, Kelly (Bruce) Nazary, Mandy Newell; Great-Grandchildren, Brady Walden (Jenna)), Victoria & Landon Swearengine, Charley Hayes Nazary. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lucille Kittrell Walden and Son, Charles Walden. Friends will be received from 9-11, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Mark Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
