He was born on Wednesday, November 3, 1926 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Leroy Jones and the late Estelle Friday Jones. He was a Farmer. Surviving are his Wife, Dorothy E. Jones of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Earl Jones, Wiley Jones; 3 Daughters, Patsy Jones, Malry (Phillip) Mathis, Betty Lou (Jimmy) Real; 4 Grandchildren, Marie Mathis, Lisa Lanier, Angela Morrison, David Morrison; Great-Grandchild, Henry L. Lanier III; Special Friend, Cathy Edwards; Son-in-Law, Thomas Cleckler. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, February 23, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 1:00P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ollie Clyde Jones and Rev. Ricky Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
