Charlotte Marie WENDT, 89, of Clanton died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her residence. She was born on Friday, October 22, 1920 in Spencer, Iowa, Daughter of the late Orvin Bertelson and the late Rena Marie Biksen. She was a Billing Supervisor. Surviving are her Son, David Wendt of Clanton, AL; 4 Daughters, Sharon Baird of Nashville, AL, Donna Kay Griffin of Clanton, AL, Carol Ann Witscheber of Hendersonville, TN, Pamela Joy Champion of Mt. Airy, GA; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald K. Wendt. Friends will be received from 1 hour prior to the service, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the church. Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 2:00PM. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. George Champion officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
