Chester Ray Connell

Chester Ray Connell, 70, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away April 26, 2024, at his residence in Thorsby, Alabama.

He was born November 4, 1953, in Alabama, son of the late Roland Connell and the late Eunice Cleckler Connell.

He was retired as a Foreman with Alabama Power.

Surviving are his Wife, Martha Connell; Daughter, Angie (Doran) Lockhart; Granddaughter, Kelsie (Tyler) Knox; Great-Granddaughters, Kinslie, Brinlie and Trinitie; Brothers, Curtis (Sue) Connell and Jerry Connell; a host of  family and friends, and a wonderful church family.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Roland Connell; Mother, Eunice Cleckler Connell; Son, Ray Connell.

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clanton Church of  God.

Services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Clanton Church of  God with Rev. Billy Boatwright and Rev.Tommy Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memory Gardens, Thorsby, Alabama.
