Cilla R. Adkins, 94, of Clanton died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her residence in Clanton. She was born on Sunday, July 1, 1917 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Richard Thomas Robinson and the late Drucilla Jane Green Robinson. She was a retired Hairdresser. Surviving are Nephew, John D. Glasscock of Jemison, AL; Niece, Jeanette Ellison of Thorsby, AL, Barbara Teague of Birmingham, AL, Dorothy Nell Cole of Clanton, AL, Grace Billingsley of Clanton, AL, Susie Williams of Clanton, AL, Helen Woodward of Clanton, AL, Lois Cotton of Alexander City, AL; Special Caregivers, Michelle Headley, Brenda Swindle, Sandra Cleckler & Lottie Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Roy A. Adkins; Four Brothers & Six Sisters. Friends will be received from 1-2 pm, Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
