Clara Nell MIMS, 86, of Clanton died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Saturday, May 12, 1923 in Chilton Co., Daughter of the late Benny Davis and the late Abbie Little Davis. She was a Beautician. Surviving are her 4 Sons, Mr. Kenneth Mims of Clanton, AL, Mr. Keith "Tack" Mims of Randolph, AL, Mr. Kendall "Boonie" Mims of Clanton, AL, Mr. Kelly Mims of Clanton, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Kenneth O. Mims; Granddaughter, Dedra Mims Hunt; Great Granddaughters, Chealsa & Chelisa Hunt. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, April 16, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 11:00 A.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Evie Megginson and Rev. Matt DeBord officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
