Clara Janice Smith

Clara Janice Smith, 89, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 9, 2024, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama.

She was born December 5, 1934, in Alabama, daughter of the late Rufus Howard Wyatt and the late Clara Mae Mims Wyatt.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Sons, Steven Paul Smith and David Earl (Kelli) Smith; Sister, Linda (Norman) Bradberry and Edna Ruth (Doyle) Blackwell; Grandchildren, William Wyatt Smith, Wesley Shay Smith,Wylie Christina Smith, Keri Leigh Smith and Kali Renee Smith; Nephews, Robert Shawn Davenport, Jimmy Blackwell and Mark Blackwell; Nieces, Tanya Maddox, April Godwin, Meloney Daniels and Michelle Barr.

Pallbearers:  Wyatt Smith, Darren Maddox Jace Maddox, Jason Godwin, David Moore and Roger Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Rufus Howard Wyatt; Mother, Clara Mae Mims Wyatt; Husband, William Earl Smith; Brother, Billy Wyatt; Sister, Ophelia Davenport.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held , April 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
