He was born November 25, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida, son of Clarence Ward and Eloise Ward.

He was a Owner of Ward's Cabinet Company.

Surviving are his Wife, Sharon Ward, Daughter, Layle Ward, Step-daughter, Kim Baker, Step-daughter, Shannon (Tony) Lawrence, Step-daughter, Lacey (Shane) Thornton, Granddaughter, Emily (Graham) Cochran, Grandson, Phillip (Destiny) Smith, Granddaughter, Ashley Ward, Step-granddaughter, Kaylee (Megan Lirke) Farris, Step-grandaughter, Madison Thornton, Great-Granddaughter, Ryleigh Underwood, Great-Granddaughter, Aubrie Underwood, Great-Grandson, Oliver Smith, Great-Grandson, Liam Lirkel, Great-Grandson, Gunner Farris.

He was preceded in death by his Son, Chris Ward, Father, Clarence E. Ward, Mother, Eloise Burch Ward, Sister, Voncile Powell, Sister, Mildren Mahan.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home Chapel .

Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Christensen officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
