Rev. Claude William Davis, 87, of Clanton died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. He was born on Thursday, December 1, 1927 in Wilcox Co., AL, Son of the late Clifford Collins Davis and the late Florance Christell Shumate. He was a Pastor. Surviving are his Sons, Rev. Arthur (Sandra) Davis of Clanton, AL, Allen (Leslie) Davis of Clanton, AL, Michael (Theresa) Davis of Talladega, AL; Daughters, Shirley Sansom of Abilene, TX, Wilma (Randell) Kelley of Clanton, AL; 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clifford Collins & Florance Christell Davis and wife, Mrs. Ida Romania Barrett Davis. Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2014 at Glad Tidings Church of God. Services will be held Friday, February 6, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church of God with Rev. Billy Boatright and Rev. Odell Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
