Claudie Lee Deavers, Jr. 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 21, 2022 at his residence in Clanton, Alabama.

He was born May 31, 1937 in Chilton County, Alabama son of the late Claudie Deavers, Sr. and the late Martha Frances Lewis.

He was an Operator at the Papermill.

Surviving are his Wife, Floree Kelley Hudman; Son, Anthony "Tony" (Cindy) Deavers; Daughters, Tammy Renee (Michael) Morgan, Kathy Lynn (Steve) Cook and Michelle (Ernie) Stone; Brother, Charles (Pumkin) Deavers; Sister, Martha Ann Cleveland; Ten Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Claudie Lee Deavers, Sr.; Mother, Martha Frances Lewis; Brothers, Howard Earl Deavers and Eugene (pete) Deavers; Previous Wife, Geraldine Kelley Deavers.

Pallbearers:  Jacob Jones, Zack Miller, David Jones, Rick McCoy, David Nicholes and Alan Oglesby.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Leon Sealy and Harry Pugh.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Covenant Baptist Church.

Services will be held , March 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens, Valley Grande, Alabama.
