Clay Johnson, 81, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 25, 2024, in Alabaster, AL.

He was born January 6, 1943, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of  the late John Johnson and the late Gracie Johnson.

He was a Construction Worker.

Surviving are his Sons, Rodney (Paula) Johnson, Kenny (Audrey) Johnson, Ricky Johnson; Daughters, Jane (Randy) Schuffert, Sherri Wyatt; Multiple Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren & Great, Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Diane Moatts.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Betty Jo Johnson; Parents, John & Gracie Johnson; Grandson, Brad Johnson; Sisters, Marie Jacks, Eva Lee Payton, Lora Adams, & Zora Jacks; Brothers, Buster Johnson, Willie B. Johnson, & Hubert Johnson.

Friends will be received Monday, July 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Hicks officiating.

Interment will follow in Providence Baptist #2 Cemetery of Clanton, Alabama.
