Cynthia Lynn Moates Powell, 61, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 21, 2026, at Baptist South Health in Montgomery, AL.

She was born March 7, 1965, in Georgia, daughter of the late Wayne Moates and the late Sue Jones.

She was a Owner of Lil Suzy Q's in Clanton, AL.

Surviving are her Husband, Keith Powell; Sons, Taylor Powell, Tanner (Kelsey) Powell; Daughter, Jordan (Ryan Cofer) Powell; Grandchildren, Lydia, Grant, Graylan, Cora and Crue; Brother, Dewayne Moates.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Wayne Moates; Mother, Sue Jones.

Friends will be received Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Springs Methodist Church.

Services will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Springs Methodist Church with Clay Collins and Roger Cleckler officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
