He was born on Thursday, February 15, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama, Son of the late Jessie Allen Cumbie and the late Emma George Binson. He was a Body Technician. Surviving are Wife, Patricia Cumbie of Marbury, AL; Son, Edward (Jessica) Cumbie of Marbury, AL; 3 Daughters, Christy Rhodes of Prattville, AL, Tonya Atwell of Prattville, AL, Beth Thomas of Houma, LA; Two Grandchildren, Michael Richards and Jade Cumbie; Brother, Terry (Debra) Cumbie of Montgomery, AL; 2 Sisters, Phyllis (Jack) Truhel of Hendersonville, TN, Wanda McKay of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jessie and Emma George Cumbie; Two Brothers Jimmy Earl and Gail Edward Cumbie; Sister, Juanita Brantley. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 @ Unity Baptist Church, Marbury, AL. Services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 2:00 PM. at Unity Baptist Church with Rev.
