David Wiley Jones

David  Wiley Jones, 76, of Carrollton, Alabama passed away April 7, 2023, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

He was born July 19, 1946, in Georgiana, Alabama, son of the late Horace Jones and the late Era Jones.

He was a electrician and maintenance employee for Weyerhaeuser.

Surviving are his Daughters, Karen (Jackie) Coggins, Gwen (Jeff) Knee and Krista (David) Dailey; Grandchildren, Ashley (Whitney) Ray, Derek Lockhart, Logan (Megan) Lucas, Kenny Lanier, Nicholas Lanier, Sarah (Johnny) Holler, Justin (Katlyn) Dailey, Mariah (Bernie) Dailey, Cole (Kendal) Jones, Kaitlyn Jones and Brianna (Lynden) Heaton; Ten Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Therrel (Frances) Jones anf Michael Jones; Sisters, Janice Sconyers, Nancy Jones and Patricia (TR) Munn.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Shirley Jones; Daughter, Melissa Jones; Father, Horace Jones; Mother, Era Jones; Brother, Marcus Jones; Sister, Glenda Conyers.

Friends will be received Monday, April 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church.

Services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Cemetery, Marbury, Alabama.
