David Hyman Nelson, 69, of Verbena, Alabama passed away December 14, 2023, at his residence.
He was born January 18, 1954, in Clanton, Alabama, son of the late David Nelson and the late Geraldine Nelson.
He was a retired MSGT with the United States Air Force.
Surviving are his Daughters, Jessica Nelson, Amy (William McKee) Robertson, Emily (Blake) Dunn; 10 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Father, David Carl Nelson; Mother, Geraldine Nelson; Brother, Greg Nelson; Sister, Carla Griffin.
Friends will be received Monday, December 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama with Military Honors at 11:45 a.m. Monday.
