David Stewart REEVES, 74, of Marbury died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. He was born on Friday, June 29, 1934 in Alabama, Son of the late Woodrow Reeves and the late Ruby Howell. He was an Ironworker. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Dolores Reeves of Marbury, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Maxie Reeves of Marbury, AL, Mr. Tony Reeves of Jemison, AL; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Lisa Knight of Marbury, AL, Mrs. Robin Cook of Deatsville, AL; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; Brother, Mr. Tom Cobern of Verbena, AL. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Mrs. Hazel Reeves; Son, Mr. Casey Reeves; Grandson, Mr. Dewey Lee Knight, Jr.; Great-Granddaughter, Miss Amber Nicole Reeves and Parents & Sister. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, February 12, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home . Services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carey Waldrop and Rev. Tony Christenson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Creek Cemetery, Marbury, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
