He was born on Saturday, June 22, 1935 in Chilton County, Son of the late Earnest Parker and the late Gertie Giles Parker. He was a retired utility mechanic with Alabama Power. Surviving are Wife, Myra Popwell Parker of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Ernie (Jackie) Parker of Clanton, AL, Chris (Karen) Parker of Clanton, AL; 2 Grandsons, Josh Parker & Adam (Amanda) Mims; 6 Granddaughters, Jaclyn (Todd) Porter, Hailey Parker Thomas, Crissi (David) Hand, Brandi Parker Huett, Bethany Mims & Becky (Matt) Parker; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Brenda Parker (Gary) Alburl. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
