Debbie Kay Ellison, 53, of Clanton died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Tuesday, August 16, 1960 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Renfroe Varden and Martha K. Ellison King She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Husband, Rex Ellison of Clanton, AL; Step-Son, Brian Ellison; Grandchildren, Savannah Ellison, Hannah Ellison & Gage Allen Ellison; Mother & Step-father, Martha & Fred King; 2 Brothers, George Varden & Jason Varden, all of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Father, Renfroe Varden and her Sister, Tracy Headley. Friends will be received from 2-3 pm, Thursday, May 15. 2014 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Services will follow at 3:00 pm. with Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Bapt. Cem., Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing. You may leave online condolences for the family on our website.
