Denita Lee Blankenship On January 16, 2021 our Beloved Denita went home to be with the Lord. She was born November 23, 1960 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was Loved by Everyone. She graduated from Locust Fork High School in 1979. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister. Denita Loved to get together with family and friends for the holidays and Alabama football games. Listening to music was a big part of her life. She was preceded in death by her Father, James Edward Cason; Sister, Savannah Jane Lussier, Uncle, Donald Darbee, Brother-in-law, Patrick Mayfield. Left to cherish her memory, Husband, Rex Allen Blankenship, Clanton, Alabama; Mother, Carol Lussier, Clanton, Alabama; Son, Steven (Diana) McCartney, Durant, Oklahoma; Twin Sister, Anita Mayfield, Hayden, Alabama; Brother, James (Lisa) Cason, Gilbert, South Carolina; Aunt, Traci (Michael) Courtney, Pell City, Alabama; Uncle, Ronald (Ginger) Barbee, Trussville, Alabama; Uncle, Austin (Janice) Cason, Talladega, Alabama; Eight Grandchildren, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Her Life will be held at The Church at Bethel, 10042 Collins Chapel Road, Thorsby, Alabama. Viewing for the Family will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friends viewing will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm. at The Church at Bethel with Pastor Wayne Hughes conducting the service. Interment will follow at Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Family requests No flowers.
