Dian Ellison Popwell, 65, of Clanton died Sunday, October 30, 2011. She was born on Tuesday, February 19, 1946 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Odis Ellison and the late Sybil Martin Ellison. She was a Nurse Assistant. Surviving are her Son, Greg Curtis of Shelby, AL; Granddaughter, Hannah Curtis of Shelby, AL; Grandson, Cole Curtis of Shelby, AL; Brother, Rex Ellison. Friends will be received from 12-2, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 @ Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Bethel Baptist with Rev. Ken Brand officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Bapt. Cem., Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
