Donald Eugene Hardyman, Sr., age 89, of Clanton, Alabama passed away peacefully at his residence on August 17, 2025.
He was born September 7, 1935, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Cullman, Alabama when he was thirteen years old.
After graduating from high school, he worked at Birmingham Trust National Bank where he met and married his wife, Feba, of 65 years. He loved God, country, and his family. He was a Christian man who served as a church deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. During the 1960s, he was a member of the Alabama Army National Guard where he served in the 109th Evac Hospital from Birmingham. He was a retired electrician with Alabama Power Company. He enjoyed working in his shop, being outdoors, spending time with family, and watching Alabama football.
Surviving are his Wife, Feba Louise Martin Hardyman, Son, Donald (Susan) Hardyman, Jr., Daughter, Laurie (Greg) Marcus, Grandson, Donald (Emily Black) Hardyman, III, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, William Lee Hardyman, Mother, Belle Weaver Hardyman, Brother, Garnet Lee Hardyman, Brother, James Edward Hardyman, Brother, William Neal Hardyman, Sr., Brother, George Ivan "Buddy" Hardyman.
Friends will be received Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Christensen officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
