Donald Lamar Minor, 71, of Brierfield died Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born on Saturday, April 19, 1947 in the Refuge Community in Clanton Alabama, Son of the late Dewey Minor and the late Birdie Minor. He worked at the University of Montevallo as a carpenter for 30 years. Surviving are his loving Wife, Charlotte Minor; Only Child & Daughter, Crystal Minor (Johnathan) Dreyer; Granddaughters, Hope Nicole Dreyer, Holly Elizabeth Dreyer; Grandson, Johnathan Grayson Dreyer, Jr.; Sister, Judy Easterling; Niece, Lauren Baker; Nephews, Ricky Minor, Jeffrey Minor. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Dewey & Birdie Minor. Friends will be received from 5-7, Monday, January 7, 2019 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
