He was born July 1, 1945, in Alabama, son of John Smith and Mary Smith.

He was a Logger.

(Frankie) Smith, Daughter, Donna Childress, Daughter, Cathy Smith, Grandson, John Lewis Smith, Granddaughter, Jillian Smith, Granddaughter, Christal Bean, Granddaughter, Brittany Smith, Grandson, Devin Roper, Grandson, Arion Roper, Granddaughter, Catherine Posey, Granddaughter, Lacey Alleman, 14 Great Grandchildren, Daughter-in-law, Marti Smith, Sister, Janice (Donald) Bice, Brother, Albert  Smith, Brother, Johnny (Betty) Smith.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John Curtis Smith, Mother, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Sister, Sally Duckworth, Brother, Wayne Smith, Brother, Jerry Smith, Great-Granddaughter, Ansley Alleman.

Friends will be received Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with  officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Cemetery, , .
