Donald Morrison "Donnie" Strickland, 70, of Clanton died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Clanton. He was born on Saturday, April 25, 1942 in Autauga Co., Alabama, Son of the late Henry Samuel Strickland and the late Mary Ophelia Deramus Strickland. He owned a commercial heating and cooling business. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Jones Strickland of Clanton, AL; Son, Donald M. (Kim) Strickland, Jr. of Andalusia, AL; Daughter, Shellie S. (Chris) Smith of Clanton, AL; 4 Grandsons, Jacob Smith, Sam Smith, Chase Strickland and Trey Strickland; Granddaughter, Anna Smith; Brother, Everette Wayne "Pete" Strickland; 5 Sisters, Eloise Beadlescomb, Dorothy Graves, Jo Owens, Leta Broadhead and Sandi Little. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Martin Chapel. Services will be held Friday, May 18, 2012, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Matt DeBord and Rev.
