Donald S. Talley

Rev. Donald S. Talley, 70, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 4, 2021 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama. He was born October 6, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama, son of the late Luther Talley and the late Frances Talley. He surrendered to the ministry in 1979 after the death of his son Shannon. He began his pastoral ministry at Pleasant Grove Methodist Protestant Church and served several other churches over the years. He served as the pastor at Trinity Bible Church the past 19 years. He was a frequent testimony speaker at the Gideon's International. He was very passionate about soul winning, his family, church family, and his friends. Surviving are his Wife, Pat Talley, Daughter, Tracy (Kent) Gilliland, Daughter, Amy (William) Santiago, Son, Miguel Garcia-Talley, Son, Austin Garcia-Talley, Grandson, Zachery Martin, Brother, Rickey (Debra) Talley, Sister, Camellia (Ronnie) Davis, Sister, Darlene (Jonathan) Dansby, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by His Father, Luther Talley, Mother, Frances Talley, Brother, Jeffrey Talley, and Son, Shannon Talley. Friends will be received Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
