Donna Mcneill Ellison

Donna McNeill Ellison, 73, of Jemison, Alabama passed away April 22, 2025, at UAB Medical Center.

She was born June 24, 1951, in Alabama, daughter of the late I. H. McNeill, Jr. and the late Dot McNeill.

She was a teacher for 39 years with the majority been with the 2nd grade at Thorsby Elementary School. She was also a dance teacher for 57 years with Donna's Dancers & Tammie Twirlers.

Surviving are her Son, Scott (Alex) Ellison, Son, Keith Ellison, Daughter, Lee Ann (Chris) Moore, Grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan (Cameron), Kendall (Jordan), Griffin, Alivia, and a great grandchild, Mac, Sister, Tammie (Glenn) McGriff, Brother, Howie McNeill, III, A host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ronald Ellison.

Friends will be received Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. David Hand officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Casey Welch, Sam Green, Kyle Carter, Phillip Scott, Jacob Taylor, and Clyde Northcutt.
