Doris Caton Davis, 79, of Alabaster died Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1932 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Charlie H. Hand and the late Alice Bell Hand. She was a retired sales rep. Surviving are Husband, James Davis of Alabaster, AL; Daughter, Carolyn (Johnnie) Glenn of Alabaster, AL; Son, Paul (Nikki) Caton of Jemison, AL; Granddaughters, Angie Wallace of Shannon, AL, Kaylee Caton of Jemison, AL, Lacy Ray of Jemison, AL; Grandson, Justin Ray of Jemison, AL; 5 Great Grandchildren.Four Step-Children, Eddie Davis, Jason Davis, Linda Court, and Carolyn Cochran. She was preceded in death by her first Husband, Gene Caton and her brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 5-7, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012, at 03:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Franklie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL .
