Doris Sanders Davis

On the evening of Sunday, March 21, 2021, Doris Sanders Davis left us to be with our Lord. While she worked at numerous jobs over the years, she was best known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was well-known and loved by her church family at West End Baptist Church. She was 84 years old. She left behind her loving Husband, Jimmy Olin Davis, Son, Barry C. (Jan) Davis, Daughter, Lori Davis (Randy) Lail, Daughter-in-law, Cathleen Davis, Granddaughter, Olivia Davis (Kyle) Miller, Granddaughter, Whitney Davis (Ivan) Whitfield, Grandson, Josh (Mandy) Wilson, Granddaughter, Brianna Lail, Granddaughter, Taylor Mims (Joseph) Baker, Grandson, Mark Mims, Grandson, Brad Mims, Grandson, Josh Mims, and ten Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Her Son, Randy Davis, Father, W. L. Sanders, Mother, Lula Belle Sanders, Step-Mother, Eilene Sanders, Eight Brothers and Sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
